27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar(South Indian Ocean ), latitude 3.90°S, longitude 87.04°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (1557)miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (30)min (58)sec M.S.T on 14^th November, 2023.
