14-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, West Bengal and North Odisha, India. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Bangladesh), latitude 23.29°N, longitude 90.92°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (176) miles west-northwest of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (10)hr (05)min (28)sec M.S.T on 2^nd December, 2023.
