27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (23) miles southeast of Gangaw), latitude 22.25°N, longitude 94.48°E, depth (79) kilometers, about (63) miles southeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (14)hr (06)min (11)sec M.S.T on 21^st February, 2024.
