4-10-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs MST today, a Low Pressure Area has formed over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh and West Bengal(India). Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 10.60°N, longitude 91.99°E, depth (23) kilometers, about (513) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (11)hr (51)min (03)sec M.S.T on 19^th September, 2024.
