A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Xizang, China), latitude 28.65°N, longitude 87.51°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (519) miles northwest of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (07)hr (35)min (17)sec M.S.T on 7th January, 2025.
