3-9-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to further intensify during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

          A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Mindanao, Philippines), latitude 5.30 °N, longitude 126.17 °E, depth (96) kilometers, about (2255) miles southeast of Naypytdaw seismological observatory was recorded at (05) hr (37) min (09) sec M.S.T on 28th June, 2025
