24-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan), latitude 36.59°N, longitude 67.63°E, depth (45) kilometers, about (2077) miles northwest of Naypyitaw seismological observatory was recorded at (02)hr (59)min (04)sec M.S.T on 3rd November, 2025.
