22-5-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off north Tamil Nadu-South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India still persists. It is likely to move northeastwards and intensify into a Depression over Central Bay of Bengal around 24-5-2024. Thereafter, it may continue to move northeastwards, further intensify and reach Northeast and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal around 25-5-2024 evening. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (18) miles North of Mongkhet), latitude 21.96 °N, longitude 99.36 °E, depth (10) kilometers about (50) miles Northwest of Keng Tung seismological observatory was recorded at (11)hr (55)min (29)sec M.S.T. on 27th April, 2018.
