3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (20) miles northeast of Mingin), latitude 23.12 °N, longitude 94.67 °E, depth (59)kilometers about (54)miles west-southwest of Kanbalu seismological observatory was recorded at (12)hr (13)min (18)sec M.S.T. on 28^th May, 2018.
