3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (19) miles northwest of Myitkyina), latitude 25.51°N, longitude 97.14°E, depth (10)kilometers about (21) miles west of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (10)hr (45)min (54)sec M.S.T on 7^th June, 2018.
