3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Yunnan, China), latitude 25.44°N, longitude 100.68°E, depth (10) kilometers about (198) miles east of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (15)hrs (09)mins (55)secs M.S.T. on 21^th June, 2018.
