3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Adaman Islands, India Region), latitude 13.19°N, longitude 92.47°E, depth (12)kilometers about (353) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (42)min (48)sec M.S.T on 4^th July, 2018.
