3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (32) miles southwest of Pyinsalu, Near the coast of Myanmar), latitude 15.62°N, longitude 94.38°E, depth (104)kilometers about (145) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (17)hr (38)min (18)sec M.S.T on 4^th July, 2018.
