3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles south-southeast of Mawkmai), latitude 20.13°N, longitude 97.76°E, depth (10)kilometers about (53) miles south of Namsang seismological observatory was recorded at (04)hr (29)min (14)sec M.S.T on 7^th August, 2018.
