3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A very strong earthquake of magnitude (8.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Fiji Islands Region), latitude 18.100°S, longitude 178.000°W, depth (570)kilometers about (6320) miles southeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (06)hr (49)min (40)sec M.S.T on 19^th August, 2018.
