3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 10.56°N, longitude 91.60°E, depth (9)kilometers about (530) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (17)hr (19)min (27)sec M.S.T on 24^th August, 2018.
