3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (12) miles southeast of Hpapun), latitude 17.96°N, longitude 97.60°E, depth (10)kilometers about (102) miles southeast of Taungoo seismological observatory was recorded at (22)hr (11)min (33)sec M.S.T on 20^th September, 2018.
