3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (7.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Minahassa Peninsula, Sulawesi, Indonesia), latitude 0.19°S, longitude 119.89°E, depth (20)kilometers about (2000)miles southeast of Kabar-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (16)hr (32)min (46)sec M.S.T on 28^th September, 2018.
