3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 12.83°N, longitude 92.04°E, depth (30)kilometers about (390)miles Southwest of Kabar-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hr (54)min (43)sec M.S.T on 1^st October, 2018.
