3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (20) miles southeast of Homalin), latitude 24.70°N, longitude 95.17°E, depth (95)kilometers about (63) miles northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (03)hr (19)min (52)sec M.S.T on 27^th October, 2018.
