3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (24)miles northwest of Mawlaik), latitude 23.78°N, longitude 94.08°E, depth (13) kilometers about (34) miles southwest of Tamu, seismological observatory was recorded at (11)hr (03)min (21)sec M.S.T on 30^th November, 2018.
