A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (17) miles northwest of Danai), latitude 26.58°N, longitude 96.57°E, focal depth (82)kilometers about (93) miles northwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (03)hr (02)min (18)sec  M.S.T on 24th December, 2018.
