18-2-2026 According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west–northwestwards towards Sri Lanka and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 14.19°N, longitude 92.97°E, depth (102)kilometers, about (280) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (17)hr (59)min (30)sec M.S.T on 23rd March, 2019.
