It is likely to move West–Northwestwards towards Sri Lanka during next 24 hours. Weather is partlyc cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (16)miles east of Falam), latitude 22.88°N, longitude 93.92°E,  depth (11) kilometers, about (26)) miles northeast of Hakha seismological  observatory was recorded at (21)hr (06)min (54)sec M.S.T on 15th  April , 2019.
