25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A Strong earthquake of magnitude (6.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Southwest of Sumatra, Indonesia), latitude 7.33°S, longitude 104.88°E, depth (49) kilometers about (1766) miles south-southeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (18)hr (33)min (26)sec M.S.T. on 2nd August, 2019.
