25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (8)miles south-southwest of Mingin), latitude 22.77°N, longitude 94.47°E, depth (92)kilometers, about (56)miles East of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (00)hr (58)min (48)sec M.S.T on 4th August, 2019.
