22-2-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West- Northwest and may reach Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoning Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (14) miles northwest of Paungbyin), latitude 24.43°N, longitude 94.68°E, depth (50) kilometers, about (27) miles northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (06)hr (02)min (16)sec M.S.T. on 15th August, 2019.
