22-2-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West- Northwest and may reach Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoning Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (14) miles northwest of Mogaung), latitude 25.41°N, longitude 96.75°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (41) miles west of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hr (25)min (35)sec M.S.T on 4th September, 2019.
