It is likely to move West–Northwestwards towards Sri Lanka during next 24 hours. Weather is partlyc cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (22)miles west-southwest of Bogale), latitude 16.21°N, longitude 95.07°E, depth (56) kilometers, about (45)miles southeast of Pathein seismological observatory was recorded at (02)hr (48)min (48)sec M.S.T on 11th September, 2019.
