24-2-2026 According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northweatwards and intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwest during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (3)miles west of Pyinmana), latitude 19.74°N, longitude 96.17°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (3)miles southeast of Nay Pyi Taw seismological observatory was recorded at (23)hr (51)min (51)sec M.S.T on 29th September, 2019.
