30-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (24) miles southeast of Falam), latitude 22.74°N, longitude 94.01°E, depth (12) kilometers, about (27) miles east-northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (18) hr (15) min (25) sec M.S.T on 16th April, 2020.
