 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

EARTHQUAKE NEWS

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (12)miles west of Oattara Thiri, Nay Pyi Taw), latitude 19.82°N, longitude 95.97°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (11)miles west-northwest of Nay Pyi Taw seismological observatory was recorded at (04)hr (58)min (17)sec M.S.T on 15th May, 2020.
