7-1-2026 According to the observations at 18:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwest. It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (19)miles northwest of Ann ), latitude 19.95°N, longitude 93.81°E, depth (24)kilometers, about (61)miles east-southeast of Sittwe seismological observatory was recorded at (15)hr (39)min (03)sec M.S.T on 22nd August, 2020.
