3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 24 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (12) miles East-Southeast of Kalewa) about (130) miles Northwest of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (23)hrs (41)min (21)sec M.S.T on 1^st January , 2018.
