16-11-2025:  According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast) still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours. Weather a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Mindanao, Philippines), latitude 5.29°N, longitude 125.49°E, depth (26)kilometers, about (2143)miles southeast of Kaba_Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (05) hr (51)min (59)sec M.S.T on 16th December, 2020.
