30-6-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A Strong earthquake of magnitude (6.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Qinghai,China), latitude (37.82)°N, longitude (101.12)°E, depth (24)kilometers, about (877) miles north-northeast of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (00)hr (15)min (32)sec M.S.T on 8thJanuary, 2022.
