29-6-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A Moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (18) miles southwest of Mingin), latitude 22.76 °N, longitude 94.24 °E, depth (112) kilometers, about (40) miles east-northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (21) hr (45) min (38) sec M.S.T on 1^st May, 2022.
