29-6-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (6.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Taiwan), latitude 23.93°N, longitude 122.47°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (1713) miles east of Naypyitaw seismological observatory was recorded at (12)hr (53)min (02)sec M.S.T on 9^th May, 2022.
