29-6-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (28)miles east-northeast of Homalin), latitude 24.94°N, longitude 95.35°E, depth (148)kilometers, about (82)miles northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (05)hr (16)min (13)sec M.S.T on 8^th September, 2022.
