3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (31) miles Southeast of Kale), latitude 22.85°N, longitude 94.40°E, depth (92)Kilometers about (53) miles Northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (01)hr (51)min (38)sec M.S.T on 25^th January, 2018.
