3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (10) miles West of Tachileik), latitude 20.45°N, longitude 99.73°E, depth (10)Kilometers about (58) miles South-Southeast of Keng Tung seismological observatory was recorded at (06)hr (38)min (31)sec M.S.T on 25^th January, 2018.
