3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (24) miles east-southeast of Bhamo), latitude 24.17°N, longitude 97.60°E, depth (5)kilometers about (93) miles south of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (07)hr (18)min (24)sec M.S.T on 2^ndFebruary, 2018.
