According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm(AMPHAN) over the West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved to Northwards. It is centered at about (120)Nautical miles South-Southeast of Paradip(Odisha-India), about (195) Nautical miles South of Digha(india), about (280) Nautical miles Southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh), about (330)Nautical miles West- Southwest of Maungdaw and about (345) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN) is coded yellow stage.
