28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of  Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain or thundershowers will be likely about normal in  Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and  Kachin, Shan States, below normal in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and above normal in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (5) to (6) days in East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States, (3) to (4) days in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, West Bago Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine,  Kayah States and (1) to (2) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions.
