1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Weather will be partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of  Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Tanintharyi Region, below normal in NayPyiTaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayah States and about normal in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (3) to (5) days in Upper Sagaing, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and about (1) to (2) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States.
