29-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 785 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 80 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal and its may further intensify into a depression. Monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers will be likely above normal in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State and about normal in NayPyiTaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Southern and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (4) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
