It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

          A low pressure area may form over the Andaman Sea and S-Bay of Bengal and it may further intensify into a depression. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and south Bay of Bengal and Partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Above normal rain are likely in Upper Sagaing , Bago,  Yangon,  Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi  Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon states and about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions ,  Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin States.

Rainy days are expected about (5) to (8) days in Upper Sagaing , Bago,  Yangon,  Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi  Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon states and about (2) to (4) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions ,  Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin States.
