It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay Inference

Two low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into a depression. Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Deltaic areas during (3-7) of October and from Southern Myanmar areas during (8-12) of October. Weather will be partly cloudy over North Bay of Bengal and monsoon will be weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day 

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Tanintharyi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, below normal in Kachin State and about normal in NayPyiTaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.

Rainy days are expected about about (6) to (8) days in East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah,  Kayin, Mon States and about (3) to (5) days in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Kachin, Northern and Eastern Shan States.
