25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Monsoon will be weak over the Andaman sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition

Rain or thundershowers will be likely above normal in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, below normal in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayah States.

Rainy days are expected about (6) to (8) days in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about (3) to (5) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States.
