29-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 785 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 80 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal and it may further intensify into a depression. Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Taninthayi Region and below normal in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about normal in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (10) days in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and (3) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Kayah States.
